Overview

Adult Swim is a 24-hour television channel launched in Canada on April 1, 2019 featuring a slate of new and returning animated comedies and live action programming, including original series Rick and MortyRobot Chicken, Tim & Eric’s Bedtime Stories, and The Eric Andre Show, plus popular acquisitions Family GuyBob’s BurgersAmerican Dad, and more.

The launch of Adult Swim offering in Canada marks a partnership with Turner, a WarnerMedia’s network in the U.S., which launched the Adult Swim brand in 2001. Adult Swim in Canada will mirror the programming and brand voice of the channel in the U.S.

On April 1, Adult Swim programming previously airing on the Cartoon Network under the TELETOON at Night programming block will be rebranded and shift to the newly minted Adult Swim channel. Both Cartoon Network and TELETOON’s schedules will shift their focus to feature best-in-class, family-friendly content appropriate for all ages 24/7.
